And a home move changes the city your matching is anchored to — a few a year, so mindate stays about meeting people near you, not hopping the globe.

No. mindate treats privacy as a feature, not your data as a product. The whole thing is built on trust — we're not about to break it.

You can leave any conversation instantly and report anyone. Safety isn't buried in a menu — it's a tap away, always.

We verify every face is a real, present person — no bots, no catfish — and chat is words-only, so nothing explicit reaches you unasked. But we can't vet anyone's character or past, so always meet in public, tell a friend, and use report or block freely. Our Staying safe page has more.
